# HSG Scholar Model

The Scholar Model lets future contributors add commentary to the
Human Stewardship Guidelines — notes, examples, historical
references, interpretations, case studies, and cross-references —
without altering the ratified principles.

## Kinds

`note`, `example`, `historical-reference`, `interpretation`,
`case-study`, `cross-reference`.

## Rules

- Scholar entries are commentary, never doctrine.
- Append-only; `scholarAppendIsSafe` guards history.
- Scholar entries cannot be used for ratification.
- Every entry references its target (`volume`, `doctrine`,
  `principle`, or `pattern`) by id.
