Book II organizes the ratified Human Stewardship Guidelines into the canonical Library manuscript. The Constitution (Book I) declares what PosterityOS protects; Book II describes how Stewards practice that responsibility.

Purpose#

  • Present the HSG as a readable, navigable manuscript.
  • Preserve the ratified authority of the platform's hsg-volume-* registries — the manuscript never overrides source data.
  • Declare the canonical fifteen-volume structure so future work has a stable frame.

Scaffolded volumes carry identity, purpose, and foundational belief. Principles, doctrines, patterns, and practices are populated only through the Steward Contribution Protocol and a subsequent Edition.

Invariants#

  • Book II cannot redefine the Constitution.
  • Volumes remain ordered I..XV.
  • Ratified volumes are immutable relative to their prior snapshot.
  • AI is never listed as a ratifier or history author.
  • Products cannot weaken volume boundaries.
  • History remains append-only.
  • Relationships preserve lineage back to the Constitution.
