Volume II describes the human who tends what Volume I calls foundations. It does not create a new definition of the Steward; it assembles the ratified Volume II material into a readable manuscript.
Purpose#
Describes who a Steward is and the responsibility a Steward carries. The Steward is a role a human accepts, not a title a system assigns.

What Volume II does not do#

- Present the Steward role as system-assigned, ranked, or permission-based
- Couple to any product route, table, component, or schema
Core boundary#
Stewardship is a human responsibility that is accepted. Stewardship is not assigned by software, granted by AI, determined by ranking, measured by status, or inherited automatically.
