  1. Volumes I–V — Ratified
  2. Volumes VI–XV — Scaffolded
  3. Volume Model

Ordered manuscript catalog. Ordinals are canonical; renumbering is prohibited. Each volume declares: title, purpose, foundational belief, principles, doctrines, patterns, grammar relationships, practices, boundaries, AI relationship, ratification, history.

Volumes I–V — Ratified#

Each volume maps to its ratified source registry in the platform:

  • Volume I — Foundations → hsg-volume-1
  • Volume II — The Steward → hsg-volume-2
  • Volume III — Hospitality → hsg-volume-3
  • Volume IV — Human Attention → hsg-volume-4
  • Volume V — Human Understanding → hsg-volume-5

The manuscript record for these volumes is authoritative only as an editorial pointer; source-of-truth remains in the corresponding platform registry.

Volumes VI–XV — Scaffolded#

Declared with identity and purpose only. Their principles, doctrines, patterns, and practices are populated through the Steward Contribution Protocol; each population produces a new Library Edition, never a mutation of Edition 1.1.

  • VI Human Conversation
  • VII Human Memory
  • VIII Human Relationships
  • IX Human AI
  • X Human Craftsmanship
  • XI Human Time
  • XII Human Growth
  • XIII Human Organizations
  • XIV Human Systems
  • XV The Steward's Oath

Volume Model#

Every volume record carries the same fields (see src/platform/stewardship/posterity-library/books/hsg/volume.ts). The aiRelationship field is required on every volume so that the manuscript never accidentally invites AI to author doctrine.
